New School and New Moves

The beginning of this month Lizzie started preschool here, we ended up doing a preschool co-op and I think it is working out great! She picked out her own backpack at Target, even though it is almost the same size as her, she loves it!

Here are her little preschool friends, ironically there are only two girls in the class and both are named Lizzie, go figure.

She started Gymnastics here and I really like this one, her first time was last Friday. There are only two other kids in her class, but she was the only one to show up and she loved the one on one attention. These parallel bars were her favorite!

I think it is safe to say that my kids don't set records when it comes to walking. They do however get pretty creative adapting to life not walking. This is Charlie's new way to dance it started out just back and forth and progressed into this, I think its pretty cute!

Dressing Up

Growing up it was not unusual to see a combo of Cow Boy Boots and dresses, Snow Boot Liners, and Peter Pan costumes. The thing is I was usually whining to my parents to not let my sister wear it to the store. So it's safe to say that it runs in the family, just I think I got the wrong kid.
It's not unusual these days to see gardening gloves, tutu's, head bands, and snow boots worn at my house most of the time all at once!

Tinkerbell Princess

Fun with Grandma Sue

Last week Grandma Sue came to for a little visit. We had a lot of fun playing, eating and hanging out! Friday we went to the Zoo, Saturday we played on the Riverwalk and the Alamo we survived the heat and we were so sad to see her go!

I have not been much of a photographer lately so really I haven't wanted to post anything. We have been playing, swimming, eating, laughing and just having a fun summer! It's sad to see the summer end soon but we have had fun and started some new adventures too.

Picture Perfect

Just before we left my mom's friend surprised us a came over and took some wonderful pictures of the girls. They turned out great, my only problem is that I can't decide my favorite.

Charlie

In the past month I have noticed that Charlie has grown up so much, even though she still talks constantly in her baby talk and she isn't walking yet she is no longer the little baby she once was. She loves to do anything her sister does and she also loves to terrorize her sister too.

This is her picture face, when she sees that I have the camera out this is what she does.

For Grammy

Lizzie decided that she wanted to be a ballerina and she has been practicing a lot, but they are pretty tricky.

Just before we left we got family pics, which we have been meaning to do for quite a while. They aren't finished but here is a little teaser, I think they are cute for having two toddlers in the mix. Yes this is my family!
