Not enough media attention

I was thinking that it was time to give River a little blogging time since she is such a good friend to Lizzie. She doesn't get enough credit when it comes to how good she really is with Lizzie. She suffers through multiple wacks (I don't know if that is a word) she is often a pillow and sometimes even a seat and through it all she never growls and is often giving kisses instead. We have pondered getting a second dog because we never know how long River will be with us, but we can't imagine finding one as good with Lizzie as River is. Just wanted to explain this picture a little in this new house everything is tile and when River sits on it she slides which really bugs her. In this picture she wanted to sit down so she sat right next to the wall so her butt wouldn't slide we thought that it was really funny.

Yeah for fresh food!

I love fresh produce! There is a lady in our neighborhood who loves to find good deals on food, she is the queen of coupons and such. Twice a month she has this thing where we bring her 15 dollars and a laundry basket and she brings it back to us a couple of days later full of fresh produce. It is awesome I have so much that I am afraid that it will go bad before I use it all. If anyone has any ideas what to do with cabbage I am up for any ideas. Other than that I am going to be in heaven this week. Lizzie too she loves grapes I have to regulate how many she eats so she doesn't get a stomach ache.

Next, I finally finished Breaking Dawn, I have this copy if anyone needs one to borrow just tell me. Wow is all I have to say, I am not sure if I loved it but it definitely had some twists. The first one was still my favorite. If you want to discuss just call me or leave a post.

Finally my last item of business, last night as I was getting ready for bed this is what we found in our bath tub, can you say scary. So of course all night I was sure that there was going to be one in my bed. I had to get on the internet and see if this was the infamous bark scorpion, and as far as I can tell I am pretty sure that it's not. But did you know that there are over 40 different species of scorpions in AZ alone, yeah that is enough to freak me out completely, my only consolation is that there hasn't been a single death in AZ from a scorpion in the last 20 years, unless you are allergic to them you will most likely have a really nasty sting and some pain. But still agh!

Christian the Lion

I know that I am kind of an animal nerd but my Nana sent me this email about these two men who bought a lion cub back in 1969 and eventually the lion grew to big for them they had to give him up to an animal refuge in Africa. A year later they went back to visit the lion and they recorded the reunion on film and I just loved it so since I don't have any pictures to post I decided to try and post this one. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did I am such a sucker for these kind of things.

No Fun

I have officially decided that there isn't much motivation to blog when I don't have a camera to post pictures. I am not really one of those that has much to say about anything but Lizzie and I am sure that most of you who read this don't really care about reading anything unless it is about Lizzie. Still, I am going to write a little to tell you all what has been happening in our little boring lives. We have moved into a house yeah and it is great. If anyone needs the address just call me or email me and I can give it to you. It has been really hot down here this week but there are a couple of relief days on the way thanks to a little tropical storm in the gulf, we might even get some rain I love the monsoon season here. Brian finished his first rotation and he starts his next one tomorrow and gas prices are killing us it is so not cool. Lizzie broke her new nursery leaders in today with a full two hours of crying nonstop I bet they are so glad that we moved in to their ward. Oh it is looking like we get to come spend a whole month in UT for a rotation over Thanksgiving and Christmas we are way excited we need to see some snow this year say your prayers. Can't wait to see you all and hopefully we survive the rest of the summer heat!
